3 easy miles around the high school. After hard speed workout on Nov. 17, I had tendinitis in my right calf where the achilles connects to the calf muscle. It didn't get better the next day. I took 5 days off, with some pain to the touch remaining. Then I tried to do an easy run, and pain came right back before I ran a half mile. I took 10 more days off, and then I started doing some walking/jogging, with some stiffness but minimal pain. Today was the first day of actually running without any pain. I was supposed to do a local "fun run" on Dec. 1, but I skipped it. It will take time to get fitness back, but today was a good sign.
